John Whyman: Making residents a priority

My electoral pledge:  I will consistently deliver non-political, enthusiastic, common sense solutions with integrity and diligence

You have two votes in this local election - make a difference.. Vote Independent
  • I have lived in Babergh District for 33 years
  • My three grown up children all live and work in Suffolk
  • I have been in business in Ipswich for 33 years and understand local priorities
  • I will work with my co-councillors to establish fair and equitable solutions to local issues
  • I have been involved in agriculture for over 30 years and understand the role our farmers have in protecting and preserving our countryside
  • I have been a college governor for 5 years and appreciate the issues within education

My priorities for your community:

  • I am independent - I will listen and focus on the concerns of residents; what improves their lives and families
  • I will work harder to get things done because I answer only to residents - not party politicians and central government spin
  • I will work effectively with other independent councillors as a group and not be isolated
